Synopsis

The filmmaker sets out to tell the story of a handicapped young man and his mother's courageous struggle with the frustrating social implications. Living in a remote Bedouin village, she is determined to build a house for her son and find him a bride.
However, while the persistent mother is well on her course – the film itself makes a turn. The Bedouin mother and her son fade out, and the focus changes to the filmmaker himself, his own family and his daughter – a mentally retarded woman in her 20's.
An intimate film about life's personal dramas: family, parenthood, partnership, and the right to leave for a romantic journey in America without feeling guilty.
